     Introduction: Heart disease is a complex clinical syndrome with various causes which a functional or structural defect in the heart makes a person unable to perform his/her activities without symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness.
People with cardiovascular disease should change their lifestyle in addition to using medicine. Considering the existence of a lot of evidence showing the existence of a relationship between people's lifestyle and suffering from cardiovascular diseases, the need to emphasize lifestyle adjustment as an important factor in determining the prognosis and complications of this disease is quite prominent and justifiable.
     Methods: This study was a descriptive and cross-sectional study that was conducted in 1401. The sample size was equal to 660 cardiovascular patients, whose ages were between 30 and 60 years old, and who had files in comprehensive health service centers in Kashan, and their information is fully included in the file. The sampling method in this study was simple random. The data was extracted from the electronic file of each patient using the researcher's checklist and analyzed by SPSS software version 21 and using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests and chi-square.
     Results: In the present study, the results showed that the amount of total cholesterol in middle-aged women with cardiovascular diseases is higher than middle-aged men with cardiovascular diseases. Also, the amount of total cholesterol in smokers was lower than non-smokers in middle-aged people with cardiovascular diseases. Also, in middle-aged people with cardiovascular diseases, fasting blood sugar levels were higher in patients with unfavorable physical activity than in patients with favorable activity.
Also, fasting blood sugar levels were higher in middle-aged people with cardiovascular diseases with unfavorable waist circumference than those with favorable waist circumference. Also, in middle-aged people with cardiovascular diseases, the fasting blood sugar values ​​of people over 50 years old were higher than those between 40 and 50 years old and under 40 years old, and the total cholesterol values ​​of people over 50 years old were higher than those between 40 and 50 years old.
